2023 Reflections: 3 important questions to wrap up your year

I always go into reflection mode for the last couple weeks of the year.

This energy of reflection is supported by yesterday’s Sagittarius New Moon and this Mercury Retrograde cycle that started today and goes through January 1, 2024. And of course the flipping of the calendar from one year to the next.

As Jason Soroski says, “There is nothing magical about the flip of the calendar, but it represents a clean break, a new hope and a blank canvas.”

If we want to ensure we’re focusing our time and energy in 2024 on the things that are meaningful to us, the things that nourish and fulfill us, the things that move our lives in the directions we want to go, it helps to reflect on where we’ve been.

Goals we set and accomplished
Areas that might have unfolded differently than we anticipated
Ways we veered off course

To take a chance to celebrate the ways we grew, honor the ways life sometimes works out differently (and how we respond to that) and acknowledge any ways we might want to change our actions to realign with our values.

Here are 3 simple and powerful questions to journal on to feel complete with 2023 and ready to move into 2024 with excitement and purpose.

Whether your 2023 has been amazing and went how you wanted or was a tough year filled with challenges, these questions will help you feel content and complete with your year.

I’ll be taking the next couple weeks off to spend time with family and take some much needed rest and reflection time of my own.

Wishing you the warmest, healthiest and happiest of holidays and a bright New Year full of hope and light. ✨
